The mission of the Midway Volunteer Fire Company is to protect and preserve life, property and the environment in our primary service area of Buckingham and Solebury Townships and aid surrounding communities. To accomplish this end the company will employ "state of the art" technology, train fire company personnel to nationally recognized standards and enhance public safety through fire and safety awareness and education. In order to meet our strategic goals and continue our mission the company must encourage members of the community to support these endeavors.

The Auxiliary was organized in the Assembly Room of the Midway Volunteer Fire Company on March 20, 1940 with twenty- four charter members. Over seventy-five years have passed since the Auxiliary was organized; in that time, the Ladies Auxiliary changed its name to just the Auxiliary. This was done to open up the membership to anyone who wished to join and help support the Fire Company.
