Shortly after 12:30 on Sunday afternoon, firefighters from Midway were dispatched to a dwelling fire on Spring Hill Circle in Buckingham. Upon arrival fire company officers reported heavy fire conditions on the second floor of the home. While a mother and three children were home at the time of the fire, they all escaped without injury. The home sustained heavy damage to the second floor and roof. Firefighters remained at the scene for over three hours.

Assisting at the scene were the Doylestown Fire Company, New Hope Eagle Fire Company, the Lingohocken Fire Company,  the Plumsteadville Fire Company and the Point Pleasant Fire Company. Stations 5 and 15 were covered by the Hartsville Fire Company, Plumsteadville Fire Company and the Warwick Fire Company.
